Accepting care for the first time is often difficult and it is a decision that will generally involve the whole family. It is important that the person receiving care is involved in the decision making process as this will make the concerned person feel more at ease and in control of the situation.
Our home care providers are experienced in dealing with these sensitive issues and will be able to work with you and your family to resolve issues and provide much needed support throughout the process. In addition, our Client Service Managers will be happy to provide you with impartial advice every step of the way.
We pride ourselves on the professionalism and quality of services for the elderly.
Caring for the elderly is a delicate decision, and it is often difficult to determine when an elderly person requires help. Furthermore, the psychological needs of the elderly person needs to be considered. mobD understands these situations well and can develop a plan that is best suited to the circumstances of your family.
The Basic Care package targets elders who require 24 x 7 assistance. Nurses will assist with the client's hygiene requirement, mobilization and feeding. Nurses are also trained to engage the elderly in activities which keep them mentally occupied.
The Advanced Care package is for patients who require continuous monitoring of vital parameters and interventions like injections, dressings and catheterization in addition to personal care.
All Elderly Care packages are administered by Registered Nurses, Dieticians and Physicians.
Some of the advantages of our Elderly Care package are as follows:
Our Carers are exclusively employed by us and so you will always have the same carers. You will be provided a primary and a secondary carer; who will cover a seven day period. This ensures continuity and familiarity.
We can typically place a carer in your home within two weeks of the initial consultation. However, in certain exceptional circumstances, we will be able to do so at a notice of 24 hours. This is usually in the case of emergencies.
The carer is thoroughly briefed on your needs and will carry out all the duties that you request. Before the period of care starts, you will get an agreement which states exactly what the period of care will entail.
